The LeRobot SO-ARM101 is an open-source six-axis robotic arm designed around the Hugging Face LeRobot stack. It is the practical entry point to embodied AI: you teleoperate the arm to collect demonstrations, train a policy, then deploy that policy back onto the same hardware. Because both the hardware files and the software are open, the arm is easy to repair, modify and extend, and the community around it keeps producing new guides, grippers and training recipes. Its compact size means it lives happily on a normal desk.
